Jemz monotangle

I'm not a big fan of "grid"tangles so I thought I would do this week's tangle challenge inside the letter J for a change.  Due to the skinny letter and the fact my grid is square not diamond shaped, the Jemz shape doesn't really stand out. :o(
I couldn't decide which way to shade it so I copied the original (copy on left) and shaded it both ways.
After I shaded them both I thought it would have looked cool coloured with a bright royal blue and golden yellow but it was too late!
So which do you prefer - the one on the left or right?

  1. Clever to put them inside your initial. I think I like the one on the right, but it is s close call they are both good.

  4. I like the one on the left. It looks more like ribbons loosely woven together.

  6. I like both. I think the ribbon effect that you got with the shading on the left is amazing!
