I'm not a big fan of "grid"tangles so I thought I would do this week's tangle challenge inside the letter J for a change. Due to the skinny letter and the fact my grid is square not diamond shaped, the Jemz shape doesn't really stand out. :o(
I couldn't decide which way to shade it so I copied the original (copy on left) and shaded it both ways.
After I shaded them both I thought it would have looked cool coloured with a bright royal blue and golden yellow but it was too late!
So which do you prefer - the one on the left or right?

Clever to put them inside your initial. I think I like the one on the right, but it is s close call they are both good.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the one on the right too.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of stained glass in churches. ^-^
I'm enjoying both. It's drawn so well it can't look bad! :)

I like the one on the left. It looks more like ribbons loosely woven together.
ReplyDeleteJoey's J's Jemz :-) I like the right one best, the other one is pretty too, though!
ReplyDeleteI like both. I think the ribbon effect that you got with the shading on the left is amazing!
ReplyDeleteooh, nice. The shading makes a huge difference with this tangle *note to self* and on the j shapes...nice work!
ReplyDeleteBoth are lovely, but I am partial to the one on the right. Thanks for another great challenge!
ReplyDeleteThe one to the right. But color maybe change everything! Thanks for a nice challenge! :)
ReplyDeleteJoey, I go back and forth, back and forth with which one I prefer - I like them both best!! These are wonderful!!
