border print challenge

This was an interesting challenge that I learned a lot from partly because I used tangles that I had never used before.  The border is Trimond and the tangles above are Fengle and Circfleur.

What I learned:

I haven't yet mastered drawing tangles on the edge of the tile so that they line up the pattern seamlessly beside the next image.

I found the software that I used to combine the images to create a repeat pattern difficult to use without resulting in white space in between them.

I tried to not colour this challenge the same colours as the inspirational tablecloth but I felt shades of green really were the best colours for it.  I have used Prismacolor pencils.

When I can learn from a challenge it's always good!

  3. Joey - this looks great!! Going from handmade where things aren't perfectly lined up to computers is hard. I am really good at Photoshop and mine has flaws too :) Wonderful!!
