and even more handmades...

needlefelted balls in glass ball ornaments
This may be the last pre Christmas post that I get to.  I'm enjoying that these days are going at a slower pace than in previous years but I'm fully aware that that could change in the blink of an eye! ;o)

I thought I would share some of the creativity that we've been indulging in these last few days...
homemade peppermint lip balm and solid vanilla perfume
beeswax candles and tree ornaments

I finally pulled out the painting boards that I made in the summer and we painted some tiny wet on wet pictures to use as cards.

This year I participated in my first Waldorf Nature Table exchange organized by Pia at 4 Seasons Exchange!  This is what I sent my partner along with some kite paper stars...
needlefelted tomten and wood toadstools
a rainbow of felt peg gnomes
a dozen beeswax star ornaments in a stamped linen bag

My Mom and I put our creative heads together and came up with a handmade gift that my 95 year old Gran should enjoy!  Soulemama's free gratitude wrap pattern is the perfect solution when an elderly person can't get out easily to buy greeting cards.  It folds up and ties neatly with the ribbon.  My Mom is the expert sewer so I made the cards! ;o)

I am truly grateful for all of my visitors and hope that I can continue to inspire you.  I have many more creative ideas to share, so feel free to Follow me, subscribe or sign up for emails.

Wishing you and your family a wonderful Holiday Season!

  4. Hello ladies! So glad you stopped by!
Amie, thanks for your kind comment! I hope that you are able to find more inspiration here!

Jules, you made me blush! Thankfully today the tree left the house with a lot less drama!

Taisa, I can't take the credit for the felt balls in glass idea, I saw them on etsy.com but sadly I couldn't link because they were gone by the time I blogged about them. You'll see the photo on my Pinterest Christmas board. Oh and we'll go thrifting when you come to town! ;o)

Have a safe and Happy New Years Eve!
