Snow doesn't happen very often in our parts, we are better known as the "Wet Coast" which makes snow days extremely rare. We had about 4" come down overnight and more in the forecast so the school board closed our schools today. (they didn't close hubby's school so he had to go to work, poor guy!) The kids and I have spent the day so far doing things we love.
My son has been outside all morning playing in the snow. My daughter was outside with him for a couple of hours and is now painting. And I have been cozied up in my warm little house making soup and tangling!
I haven't done a Diva challenge in months so I gave the Hamadox tangle a try. Really fun! And because we don't have anything blooming in the garden at the moment, it formed a ZIA flower on my page.
I hope that you are having a great day no matter what your weather is like!

Hi Joey, I really like your version of the Hamadox tangleation. Flowers are always nice. Looks like you did a fair amount of shading which brought out each quadrant of petals separated from each other. Looks great. This is the first time I have found your blog page and I see that you also do a weekly challenge. I think I might just have to play your challenge as well.
ReplyDeleteDuane Anderson.
Nice version of Hamadox. It suits the flower you've added it to.
ReplyDeleteWe too are wet and cool, although today we have bright, glorious sunshine for a change. Like you, I am staying warm inside and tangling. Your photo makes the snow look almost inviting, almost. The hamadox flower is really pretty, I think the pattern invites flower ideas the the way you have not overelaborated really works well.
