high five challenge

I thought that these patterns would go well together but I wasn't entirely pleased with how mine turned out.
Perhaps the colours I used are too dark but I felt it  needed some colour to perk it up.
In the past I have had trouble with Coil so I was pleased that I have improved a bit.  The balls are gold Prismacolor but I think I should have used a metallic Gelly Roll instead.  I also think that I should have stuck with my original thought and left the bottom open.  Or add another row of Coil along the bottom instead of the purple strip.
Well, this is the best way to learn, not every challenge is a success, how did you find this challenge?

  1. I like your tile, it looks like Pais is wrapped up in bed :-) your chord has worked really well.

  2. I found it quite hard to combine these patterns as well, but I like your tile!

  3. It was not easy to combine these pattern, but you have created a beautyful tile. Happy Eastern to you and your familiy.
    Greetings from Germany,

  4. Great tile! Coil was definitely the tricky one this time;-)

  5. I think it is like a bed, and all that pais springing up is like the dreams flowing as one sleeps. Delightful!

    1. Oh! and the shiny gold beads inside of coil! regal

I really enjoy reading your thoughts and ideas about the posts that I write here. It's nice to just say hi too!
