This week's Diva challenge included the Tangle Rautyflex by Kathrin Bendel. I love any tangle that creates an optical illusion so this appealed to me.
The funny thing is when I was drawing it I was thinking the "stairs" were coming down from the top left of the page, but now it's finished they appear to be coming from the opposite side.
Which top corner do you see the stairs coming down from? Or do you see something else entirely? ~ joey ~
oh wow... Joey - this is a wonderful example for the variety from Rautyflex...
ReplyDeletethank you for trying it this way...
For me the stairs coming down from the top of your tile... :)
You really made this tangle look dimensional. I do love it this way. I did see it coming from the top going to the right and left with those connecting. By scrunching up my eyes and letting them refocus, I can see the other ways of looking at it as well. Yes, fun!
ReplyDeleteVery nice what you did with this difficult tangle!
ReplyDeleteAmazing. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning, I love it.
ReplyDeleteI love this! I had a struggle with this pattern, but yours looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI like the optical illusion nature of this tile and this pattern, come to think of it. Not an easy pattern to learn but very effective when mastered.
ReplyDeleteI love your variation of Rautyflex! The longer I look at it the more plastic it comes out! Great tile!
ReplyDeleteGreat tile Joey! I love the optical illusion and your line work is so clean and sharp. I envy your steady hand;-)
