When we were away I kept a sketchbook/journal of the places we went and the things we saw. It was fun to do and I'm happy to have it for memories but it meant that I didn't keep up with my challenges very well! Oh dear!
I managed to complete one - the Florez challenge, which I think has an almost Asian feel to it. I think it's kinda cool.
And this week I did the Hollibaugh challenge after being inspired by Ursula B's sphere. I see Heidi Sue had the same inspiration and has totally blown me away with her stipple effect. I'm now somewhat embarrassed to submit mine, and unfortunately I still can't get Photobucket to cooperate with any fancy 'special effects' to help me out! ;o)

ReplyDeleteflorez is such a neat pattern.I like the stacked look here...it does remind one of a wall hanging you'd find in an Asian home. Good combination of colors. Your hollibaugh is terrific, too. The simplicity of it is refreshing.
