Diva #142: Dex and Bunzo (happy 35th diva!) with watercolour pencils
I have completed two challenges this week!
I've gone from 0 to 2 (and on the first day no less!) thanks to the cloudy weather. Not that I want the clouds to stick around, but I do tend to be more productive when it's yucky out.
Diva without new Photobucket editing
I also discovered a new "frame" in Photobucket's editing software that is pretty cool. I suppose I could achieve the same effect with a white gelly roll pen.
It's funny, I have always disliked Bunzo, but today it flowed easily and now I can't wait to use it again. My Dex is wonky, I still don't like that one. ;o)
And here is my "Quandary" challenge #60:
I purposely kept this one simple after having to "think" about drawing Quandary. I found it a bit difficult to keep the triangles . . . triangular but it eventually formed a roundish shape so I went with that.
I hope you are having a great week,
keep tangling!

Lovely Diva tile, Joey! I like your choice of colors and the composition. And your Quandary is looking perfect!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ilse!
DeleteYour Diva challenge is amazing!!!!
Thanks :-)
DeleteI think that combo of purple, green, and blue is just stunning! Beautiful tile. The Quandary is excellent as well.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jean. I took a peak at your Diva and I just love the highlight on your Bunzo. I must try that!
DeleteLove the colors! The rich bunzo coloring complemented perfectly with the lime green. I like it!
ReplyDeleteYou are so kind Heidi Sue. Those colours seemed to call out to me today and it's fun to grab the watercolours when you want to muck around with colour.
DeleteJoey, your Diva is quite cool and I love those swirls around the outside. The color really makes it rock!! I haven't done my Quandry yet but your is lovely!!! :) :)

Thanks Diane,
DeleteI'm often timid with new editing software but that one seemed to go.

Love the colors of your Diva tile. Of course, I have always loved that color combination since it is very calming to me. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteThank you LezliB, colour does add another dimension to artwork!

The colors are so Springlike and fresh - greeen grass and grapes on a vine. I prefer the one without the photobucket border, but then I'm old and computer challenged :-). Lovely tiles, all of them.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't thought of grapes on a vine. I like that!

Wonderful tile with beautiful colours!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI love that your challenges look like clusters of homes!

I agree about yucky weather...much easier to get cozy with a cuppa and the art materials when it's cloudy. Making things bright with the art materials is much more satisfying than braving the elements. Your colored tile is smashing!
ReplyDeleteSo true Lynell! The colour in your Diva challenge adds so much dimension to your piece. I love the 3D effect!

Awesome work. You did your challenges beautifully. Sarah
ReplyDeleteAlso, did I post my link in the right spot? I didn't see anyone but me. I'm lost in space!!!
DeleteSarah
I just joined you among Joey's entrants. I saw your entry there.
DeleteI can't believe your dexterity getting all those cheese cloth lines in your quandary. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteOddly, cheesecloth really is calming and I enjoy that my lines don't have to be perfectly straight or spaced. I wouldn't attempt it without a 005 Micron though! ;o)

Like the color in your Diva Challenge tile. It enhances your Bunzo Frame. Have a special fondness for Quandary. That was the tangle introduced at my CZT seminar.
ReplyDeleteI love tghe colors you used!!
ReplyDeleteLove both tiles.
