joey's weekly tangle challenge #12

Welcome to week #12
This tangle challenge is for anyone who enjoys using tangles in their art.
Whether you are an experienced artist or new to drawing, we're here to learn from each other and have fun with our art!
I hope that you will find my challenges fresh, stimulating and rewarding!

Use the Link Up at the bottom of the post to share your work.
*note:  the link up never closes, so you can come back and link up to any challenge at any time.

* * *
I don't know about you,
but last week's challenge was really challenging for me,
so this week's challenge will be
EZ as pie!

Guidelines:
~ only use tangles that begin with the letters E and/or Z
Optional:
~ include pie!

Have a great week!

  1. Hi, Joey,

I'm still here, enjoying your weekly challenges, even tho, sadly, I can't get them posted for you to see. But I still wanted you to know that someone else is doing them. Actually, I really enjoyed doing the Summer Night Sky last week, too, and didn't think it was *all* that difficult a challenge. Keep up the good work, please.

  3. I challenged myself to really keep it E-Z - tangled in about 15 minutes with the first things that came to mind & I couldn't resist a small pi joke ;)

    1. Love that you used pi! What tangle did you use, it reminds me of bales of hay? I'm amazed how quickly you completed the challenge, I could take a lesson from you!

    2. It's called Zander. As soon as I read the challenge it popped into my head like that - if only it was always like that. The challenge for me was to keep it that simple.

  5. Melkota,
Your currants are fantastic! I will be studying your shading techniques on this one. I love the shading under the pie as well. Thanks so much for sharing your work!

  6. Kia,
Your tangle is wonderful! I really like the pattern that looks like a flower in a square box, is that zooyz? I couldn't find that tangle when I googled it.
