hazelnut chocolate cake (gluten & dairy free)

I am back and the Birthday cake was successful!
As promised here is the recipe:

Hazelnut Chocolate Cake
1 cup finely ground hazelnuts
3/4 cup sugar 
4 eggs 
1/4 cup cocoa
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Preheat oven to 350*F
 Grease two 8"x8" cake pans (I used 7.5"x5.5" pans because it's what I had)  
In the food processor blend the nuts, eggs and sugar until well combined.
Add the dry ingredients and blend well.
Pour batter into pans (it will be runny) and bake for 20 minutes.
Cool cakes in pans (they don't rise a lot and do settle).  When cool carefully remove from pans.

I assembled the cake as a two layer cake and iced it with whipped cream (so the cake in the photos isn't actually dairy free), however, you can ice the cake with your favourite dairy free icing or here is our recipe...

Chocolate Icing (dairy free)
1/2 lb. cold margarine (we use Earth Balance)
1 cup sifted icing sugar
2 tbsp sifted cocoa powder

Beat margarine in the mixer until smooth, sift in icing sugar and cocoa and whip until fluffy.   

I decorated the cake with fresh raspberries and shaved chocolate.
(Lindt 70% is also dairy free!)
